Denver International Airport's Center of Equity and Excellence in Aviation (CEEA) spearheads a visionary initiative to reshape the aviation industry. Under Nicole Jones' leadership, CEEA aimed to unify various career development programs—apprenticeships, internships, mentorship, job shadowing, and leadership upskilling—under one comprehensive platform. The goal was to provide equitable access to career opportunities in aviation, supporting economic and workforce development, and promoting diversity within the industry.
CEEA faced the challenge of managing these diverse programs efficiently while ensuring they remained accessible and impactful for participants from underserved communities, as well as supporting small, minority, and women-owned businesses. They required a solution that could consolidate these efforts into a single, cohesive system.
Apprentix was introduced as the all-encompassing platform for CEEA's career pathways. It provided a streamlined approach for managing the complexity of running multiple developmental programs. Through comprehensive training and resources, including the Apprentix Orientation and Apprenticeship Launch and Operating Systems, Nicole Jones was empowered to effectively implement and oversee these initiatives, ensuring each program's success.
