The Associated General Contractors of Colorado (AGC) and its nonprofit education arm, the Construction Education Foundation of Colorado (CEF), embarked on launching their own apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs. They required a robust platform to manage these programs and facilitate access for general contracting firms, instructors, and apprentices.
AGC and CEF needed a system that allowed firm managers to approve time and competencies, instructors to track classroom hours, and apprentices to monitor their progress. The challenge was finding a solution that could seamlessly integrate all these needs.
After a thorough evaluation led by industry expert Terry Kish, Apprentix was chosen as the preferred platform. Its comprehensive features met all of AGC and CEF's requirements, enabling efficient management of apprenticeship programs.
With Apprentix, AGC and CEF successfully launched their new programs, streamlining the tracking of apprentices' progress and classroom hours. This strategic move has significantly enhanced the apprenticeship experience for all involved, thanks to the diligent planning and implementation efforts of Michael Gifford from AGC, alongside Bryan Cook and Lisa Seaman from CEF.
